June 19:
POSTPONED: Water Conservation, Green Expo and Vendor Fair

The CLCA Kern County Chapter Water Conservation, Green Expo and Vendor Fair has been postponed until Saturday 9/21/13. The event will be held in conjunction with our 8th Annual Golf Tournament at The Links at River Lakes Golf Course.

Vendor spaces will be free, but are limited to 12 approximatley 10'x20' spaces and will be first come, first serve. Early registrants will have preferred locations.

Raffle prizes are appreciated, and lunch can be purchased for $30.00. Contact Jerry Koop at (661) 363-6639 to reserve your space.

June 18:
CANCELED. Chapter Beautification Awards

We regret to inform everyone that because of the shortage of entries (20) and only 4 contractors entering projects, we have decided to cancel the 2013 KC-CLCA Beautification Awards Program.

The program needs strong participation from our contractors members to be successful. That seems to be our challenge, getting participation. We still believe an awards program is a true value of being a CLCA member.

Thank you all to all who entered and offered to sponsor the event. I know your time is valuable.
